Situation:
As a creative, I know the difficult thing about inspiration is it doesn’t always immediately show up when you call for it. It’s a fickle thing; coming and going as it pleases. I aspired to solve for this “creative rut”.

Action:
Odysy is a concept for an app that provides randomized inspiration. The user is able to randomly shuffle through various design themes and eras, and save elements like color swatches, copy tidbits, and imagery to a lightbox called the Stash. This is of course inspired by Homer’s epic, which follows the journey of the protagonist, Odysseus, and his trials and tribulations as he seeks his home. There’s a metaphor there, I promise. This is an ongoing, beta project.
