Leafly rebrand launch

Situation:
Sativa, indica, and hybrid being the law of the land when it comes to cannabis classification is an outdated principle. In 2019, Leafly refreshed worldwide branding working in tandem with IDEO to relate to a more modern cannabis landscape. Replacing the “Tres Colores” Leafly branding was a Swiss-inspired brand system dictated by the new terpene visualization system.

Action:
As lead designer on Leafly’s Creative Studio, my team and I under our director ushered forth the new branding based on new guidelines, creating hundreds of refreshed and new launch deliverables within a two-week period. These pieces extended from in-store POP executions to social and digital content. Furthermore, we created a digital suite of assets for our own internal team and external vendors.
